Q: When was Skip’s Boots founded?

A: Skip’s Boots was founded in 1979 in Chicago, Illinois. Corporate offices are now located in Osteen, Florida.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

A: Shopping at SkipsBoots.com is safe. The SkipsBoots.com Safe Shopping Guarantee backs every credit card purchase you make at SkipsBoots.com, and our site is protected by SSL encryption technology.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for all orders.

Q: When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately upon completion of your order to ensure your holding status on your boots.

Q: I want to return my purchase! What do I do?

A: If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it for a full refund within 60 days of purchase. (Returns must be unworn and in the state you received them and in the original box.) You may request a return through our website. First, print and fill out your Return Authorization Form then ship your boots with your return form back to our Returns Department located at 300 North State Road 415, Osteen, FL 32764. We recommend using UPS or Fed Ex so you can track your shipment, but you may use US Postal Service.
 

Q: When placing an order I get an error message stating that there has been an authorization failure. What went wrong?

A: Please double check the credit card number and expiration date on your card. Also, please be aware that we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for credit card payment.

Q: How long will it be before I receive my order?

A: At SkipsBoots.com we normally will have the order ready for shipment within 24-48 hours, but it may take longer due to inventory fluctuations. For standard shipping, you should receive your order within 3-12 business days. Expedited orders will be processed the same business day if made before 12:00 pm EST. Orders placed after the 12:00 pm cutoff will be processed the following business day. Orders place on Friday after the cutoff time will be processed the next business day; normally Monday. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on holidays are processed the next business day following the holiday. SkipsBoots.com observes the following holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.

Q: Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?

A: We ship to all 50 US States. Sorry, we do not ship internationally at this time.

Q: What do you charge for shipping an order?

A: UPS Ground (3 to 12 business day) shipping is FREE when you spend $100 or more on our site. We do offer expedited shipping for a fee.

Q: How do I know what boot size to order?

A:If you are unsure of your boot size, you can measure your boot size. Because the foot is three-dimensional, any two-dimensional measuring tool, such as a ruler or Brannock Device®, can only approximate your true shoe size. Please also keep in mind that manufacturers use different lasts to construct their shoes, and sizing may vary accordingly.

Q: Are Prices on the Internet different than the retail stores?

A: SkipsBoots.com prices sometimes do differ from pricing in our retail store. Our Internet prices are occasionally different from the prices in our retail stores. This happens primarily for the following reasons 1) Our operating costs are lower online, therefore we would like to pass the savings on to our online customers as often as possible. 2) Like other retailers, we sometimes offer exclusive online sales, valid only online and for limited times only. Please note, our physical retail stores will not be able to price match our online listings or prices.
